At Owlets Events & Occasions, we are committed to providing events and fairs that create a totally welcoming and inclusive environment for all communities. We only work with exhibitors, suppliers and affiliates who to share our inclusive ethos.

During the course of our work, no individual, couple, group or organisation will be unjustly discriminated against. This includes, but is not limited to, discrimination because of age, disability, gender, pregnancy, race, religion, belief, sexuality.

We are committed to developing equality, diversity, inclusion and representation and will do this by:

• Guiding contractors, exhibitors, affiliates and suppliers towards greater diversity and inclusion. Every exhibitor will be required to agree to follow our equality, diversity and inclusion guidelines at the time of booking and will be encouraged to take steps towards greater diversity and inclusion within their own businesses. Exhibitors who do not agree to follow these guidelines will not be permitted to exhibit.
• Welcoming volunteers of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, genders, sexualities, religions and beliefs giving them the opportunity to gain valuable event experience.
• Training event staff and volunteers to understand the importance of diversity and inclusion.
• Attending courses and undertaking training to fully understand the practical steps needed for true inclusion.
• Championing diversity within the events industry by taking action to address any under-representation at our events, and ensuring we use inclusive language and images on our website, social media and marketing campaigns.
• Ensuring accessibility and taking measures to support those with additional needs at every event venue including those with visible and invisible disabilities and disorders.
• Holding a sensory hour at each event to allow those with neurodivergent challenges and other sensory issues to attend and browse in a comfortable and uncrowded environment. Click here to read more about sensory hour.
